What an inspiring project. I'm writer in residence at The Park Theatre which is due to open in Finsbury Park next year, and like you I'm looking for N4 stories - in my case in order to create a show inspired and informed by the people of the area. Anyone who's interested should contact me (sarah.rutherford@parktheatre.co.uk) and/or join our facebook group: http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=132869406745709&ref=ts

Dear Valerie,

Thank you very much for reading about our activity and for the great feedback! Please feel free to contact us if you have any question. We would be very glad if our project can inspire other organisations. We wish you a great transition success in Omagh!

Well Done !!
I am so impressed. I am part of Transition Omagh in Northern Ireland,
and as you know it is a slow process, and each place has different challenges and opportunities. I have really fond memories of Finsbury Park. I had my three children there , and lived there until they were 7. It is great seeing all of our old haunts mapped out, and I think its brilliant the way you went about breaking it down, and making it so manageable...in a forest of communities. Already I am sure that you have brought something positive to your community, by talking to people, and getting to know the area intimately, and making people feel a little bit more part of a wider community'. I hope that we will be able to use some of your very helpful tools etc....we have an opposite challenge here of a (relatively peaceful...but pretty divided) and very spread out rural population ! Happy Transitioning.....
